Overview
A prominent construction company faced significant issues with a prior NetSuite implementation and engaged Bridgepoint to optimize their configuration, streamline business processes, and enhance data accuracy.
Challenge
Due to a poorly implemented NetSuite environment, the client was unable to obtain real-time visibility into financial and inventory management. In addition, they lacked a dedicated NetSuite resource and operated with a lean team, rendering them unable to successfully rework and optimize NetSuite.
Approach
Our team began with a comprehensive assessment to identify gaps and areas for improvement within the client’s current NetSuite configuration and POS system.
Next, we developed a detailed re-implementation plan with the following solutions:
- Configuration Adjustments: Updated the Chart of Accounts (COA) and revised vendor and customer records to better fit the client’s business processes.
- POS Integration: Implemented and integrated the POS system with NetSuite to enable seamless data flow.
- Data Migration: Corrected initial data imports and migrated opening transactions.
