Consultant Since 2022 CFO Consultant
A $275M leading upstream rice ingredients and organic rice manufacturer and marketer in the United States - Evaluated the transaction the sale of the company under ASC 805-Business Combinations and provided the client with all applicable journal entries to complete the purchase price allocation and accounting.
- Prepare the closing balance sheet for the predecessor company and opening balance sheet for the successor company and stub period income statements and statements of cash flows for the predecessor and successor companies
- Provided stability to the monthly close and financial reporting processes to allow the client to complete 3 months of financial statements that were past due
- Evaluated the leases of the company under ASC 842- Leases and provided the client with all applicable journal entries at implementation and year-end, and a template for calculation of right of use asset and liability for future leases
