Bridgepoint Recognized by Turnaround Management Association for Contributions to Life Partners Restructuring Case

AUSTIN, TX–(Nov 21, 2017) – Bridgepoint Consulting, a leading Texas-based finance, IT and management consulting firm, was recently recognized by the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) for its work on the Life Partners Holdings, Inc. restructuring case. Life Partners Holdings, Inc., was the 2017 recipient of TMA’s Turnaround and Transaction of the Year Award for “Turnaround of the Year: Large Company.”

TMA honored 72 professionals at the Turnaround and Transaction of the Year Awards on October 23 in Fort Worth, Texas. Since 1993, TMA has honored excellence through its annual awards program, which recognizes the most successful turnarounds and impactful transactions. This year’s winners saved countless jobs and made a significant economic impact, both locally and globally.

The Life Partners restructuring is likely the first time ever a fraudulent scheme of this magnitude was converted to a legitimate enterprise, according to Ragan, whom led the transaction for Bridgepoint.
