New Hires and Fresh Perspectives

I interviewed five of my new hire NetSuite Consultant peers at Bridgepoint to learn more about how the company compares to their expectations. In the final blog of a three-part series, we’ll examine the company culture at Bridgepoint Consulting.

How would you describe the company culture at BPC?

Overall, Bridgepoint Consulting has a welcome and inclusive culture. It’s a company that is always seeking to be better.

Connor Ontiveros

I love that BPC trusts me to do my work. The culture here is very laid back. Unlike other companies, BPC is not a place where employees are micromanaged. You just get your work done; if you need help get help, and if you want to learn, then learn. The culture is also mentorship oriented. The consultants here are always open to helping others.

Victor Perez

Bridgepoint’s culture is inclusive, flexible, and offers growth opportunities. BPC understands that life happens. They’ll support you in whatever you’re going through.

Melissa Bradford

What are the top benefits BPC offers to you in your personal life?

The work-life balance at BPC is exactly what I was looking for. As a former high school teacher my career switch was pretty drastic. BPC allows you to have the flexibility to manage your time the way you need to, within the parameters of accomplishing what you need to accomplish. Being able to fit in a personal appointment when you need to and make up that time later in the day is very helpful.

Pat Dunn

There’s a wonderful support system at BPC. I feel comfortable bringing up life things to my coworkers. If something were to happen, I know my coworkers would be super supportive.

Melissa Bradford

The opportunity to work from home gives me the flexibility to structure my time around when I’m most productive and allows me to mold my life around that. I like to go to the gym early and I have the option to do that at BPC. When I get off from a day of working remotely, it’s nice to not have to sit through traffic. Working remote allows me to have more of my day.

Connor Ontiveros

How would you describe the people at Bridgepoint Consulting?

Everyone is just the nicest people. Everyone is trying to help. You get the feeling that people would actually rather take time out of their day to help you, even if they have tasks they need to get done and their own deadlines. Overall, the people here are enthusiastic, friendly, and nice to work with.

Alex Barnett

I would describe the people at BPC as very professional, hard workers, helpful and patient.

Victor Perez

Everyone at BPC is really easy to get along with, easy to carry conversations with and very relatable. BPC is full of positive people, the kind who always look at the glass as half full. My coworkers are always willing to lend a hand.

Melissa Bradford

There’s a passion to get things done here. Bridgepoint employees are go-getters, humble, and embracers of change. They’re not just technically smart but also people smart.

Connor Ontiveros

In what areas is Bridgepoint exceeding expectations?

BPC exceeds expectations in company culture. Culture is a big selling point through the hiring process for many companies. But you can’t get a feel for it until you’re actually here and talking to different people and working in the environment every day. The people at BPC are generous with their time, positive, team-players, and sharp. Everyone is eager to help and embrace new employees. There is a strong level of professionalism here. Everyone wants to do well for the client and for each other.

Pat Dunn

To be honest, Bridgepoint has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Spending time with my family is very important to me. The work life balance at BPC has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Victor Perez

BPC’s training program exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t anticipating it would be so in-depth and long (about 8 weeks). It was really fun! I enjoyed it and found it to be very helpful. Having gone through the new training program, I know about things that others who have been working in NetSuite for longer than me haven’t encountered yet.

Alex Barnett

Bridgepoint Consulting is highly collaborative. In previous jobs, I’ve worked to improve processes and the culture wasn’t open to change. At BPC people recognize that they’re a part of a larger system and are more open to changes that will make the organization better as a whole.

Connor Ontiveros

It really is the culture. Everyone advertises culture. Certain companies think culture is spending a lot on a lounge room or creating lots of amenities. But what employees really want is to be treated like an adult. Having flexibility and coworkers that you get along with trumps amenities.

Melissa Bradford

What would you say are BPC’s top priorities as a company?

Bridgepoint has made it clear that the culture is a top priority here. Keeping clients happy is another major priority. Also, investing in employees – they want to build employees up and promote from within.

Alex Barnett

Bridgepoint puts people first and focuses on developing people. BPC acts in ways to establish the company as a leader in the national ERP space.

Connor Ontiveros

Top priorities for BPC as a company include providing quality work for the client and establishing strong client relationships.

Melissa Bradford

Bridgepoint’s top priority is to grow the company by having quality employees and keeping employees happy.
